Dr. Mark Johnson brings a calming, friendly presence to Riverside Dental, making patients feel right at home the moment they walk through the door. His thoughtful approach, attention to detail, and strong connection with his patients have made him a trusted name in the Thayne, WY, community.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and participating in community service. He and his wife, Kammi, take part in annual humanitarian trips to Guatemala, where they provide dental care to underserved communities. His passion for dentistry and his love for people come together in everything he does—at home and abroad.
Education & Experience
Born and raised in Payson, Utah, Dr. Johnson studied Public Health at Utah State University before earning his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from Case School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, in 2005. Shortly after graduation, he and his family moved to Star Valley, where he’s been serving the local community ever since.
As a father of four energetic sons (and now a proud father-in-law), Dr. Johnson understands the importance of family-focused care. He brings that same spirit into his practice—blending clinical excellence with genuine compassion to create a dental experience that’s both professional and personal.

Dr. Clayson Jorgensen brings a down-to-earth, energetic spirit to Riverside Dental, creating a welcoming environment where patients of all ages feel cared for and understood. His friendly nature and commitment to excellence make every visit a positive experience for both patients and staff.
Outside the office, Dr. Jorgensen is a devoted husband and father to six children—five adventurous boys and one daughter who keeps her brothers on their toes. He loves spending time outdoors with his family and finds joy in activities like hunting, hiking, mountain biking, and skiing. His deep appreciation for connection and community is reflected in the way he practices dentistry every day.

Education & Experience
Originally from Sparks, Nevada, Dr. Jorgensen began his academic journey with a degree in Business Management from BYU-Idaho, where he also met his wife, Bailey. He went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine, while simultaneously earning his MBA through evening classes.
Balancing family life and education, Dr. Jorgensen developed a strong foundation in both clinical care and patient communication. His well-rounded background allows him to approach dentistry with a unique blend of skill, empathy, and efficiency—always striving to provide high-quality care with a personal touch.
